James P. Ewers - President and CEO

Jim has a long and successful history in the logistics industry. In Seattle, where he worked for one of the largest logistics companies in the U.S., he became the Sales Manager and Operations Manager for Trammell Crow Distribution Corporation (TCDC). After four successful years, he was promoted and moved to Los Angeles as the Marketing & Sales Manager West Coast. After Exel Logistics, a British owned consortium and large European third party logistics company, acquired TCDC, Jim was assigned to manage the transportation services for the Southern California business groups. This transportation unit serviced 1.4 million square feet of distribution center space in three Southern California cities, and was soon recognized as one of the fastest growing business units in all Exel Logistics' U.S. operations. In 1995, Jim was recruited by IEDS to return to Spokane where he has demonstrated his commitment to providing excellence in customer service to IEDS customers, associates, and business partners. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Washington State University.
